A New Stage Awaits: Pointeworks Debuts in Texas
Three States. One Pointeworks.
California. New York. Now Texas.
This October, we begin an exciting new chapter: our first Texas residency and the beginning of a three-state presence spanning California, New York, and Texas.
Ten professional dancers will gather in Fort Worth for two weeks of rehearsals, community events, and performances. Traveling from across the country, these artists will prepare for Pointeworks’ first appearance at Hay Festival Forum Dallas before continuing to San Diego for COMPOSITIONS at the historic Balboa Theatre.
To celebrate this expansion, we are inviting our North Texas community inside the creative process—with exclusive rehearsal access for Ballet Society members and only 15 seats available for a free public rehearsal.

For one hour only, Pointeworks will open the studio for an intimate run-through of COMPOSITIONS.
Just 15 guests will have the opportunity to sit inside the rehearsal room, watch nine professional dancers at work, and preview the program before its presentation at San Diego’s historic Balboa Theatre.
This is not a formal performance— it is a rare opportunity to experience the work up close, in process, before it reaches the stage.
HAy FESTIVAL FORUM: A GLOBAL STAGE IN DALLAS

Pointeworks’ first Texas residency culminates in a special appearance at Hay Festival Forum Dallas, part of an international cultural series connecting artists and audiences around the world.
Presented through the Welsh Government, Pointeworks will perform Chasing Shadows by Laine Habony, featuring Nicole Von Enck, Kate Inoue, and Sophie Williams.
This special evening celebrates the creative relationship among movement, music, Wales, and the United States-and introduces Pointeworks to Dallas audiences for the first time.

Ballet Society members who give $100 or more annually may also reserve a one-hour rehearsal visit on October 7, 8 or 10. Members may bring one guest.
