POINTEWORKS 2027 NEW YORK CITY AUDITIONS
Professional Dancers — 20 Artist Contracts Available
Pointeworks is seeking exceptional professional classically trained ballet dancers for its March 2027 New York City season, featuring three to four creative residencies and one mainstage performance.
Selected artists will have opportunities to collaborate with acclaimed choreographers, musicians, composers, and fellow dancers in the creation and development of new work. Dancers may also be considered for Pointeworks’ summer 2027 mainstage performances and future company projects.
Contract Information
New York City engagements throughout March 2027
Three to four creative residencies
One mainstage performance
Approximately 20 artist contracts available
Compensation: $1,500 per week or $250 per day
Contract dates and durations will vary by project (range of 1-3 week contracts available)
Who We’re Looking For
Pointeworks welcomes applications from dynamic, expressive dancers with:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with a professional ballet company
Exceptional classical ballet technique
Soloist or principal-level artistry and performance experience
Strong classical ballet, partnering, and contemporary technique and versatility
The ability to collaborate generously and contribute to a creative process
Professionalism, musicality, individuality, developed artistry and a compelling stage presence
Female-identifying dancers must submit Pointe-work
Current work-visa or eligibility to work in the USA. At this time Pointeworks does not have a budget or timeline for visas

Volunteer with Pointeworks – Summer 2026 (San Diego)
Pointeworks is seeking a small team of 5 volunteers to support our Summer 2026 season in San Diego, running May 25 – June 13, 2026.
This is a great opportunity for high school students, college students, or community members interested in the arts to gain hands-on experience supporting a professional ballet company.
Role Overview
Volunteers will assist with light, event-based support and community engagement throughout the season. Responsibilities may include:
Event check-in and guest welcome
Assisting with concessions or Pointeworks merchandise in the lobby
Supporting season events (set-up, light hospitality, distributing materials)
Helping share flyers and promote performances within the community
Acting as general support staff during performances and special events
Volunteers will work directly with Pointeworks’ Marketing & Events Outreach Coordinator, AvaRose Dillon, gaining insight into event production and audience engagement.
Commitment
Approx. 10 total hours across the season
Typically 2-hour shifts across ~5 events between May 25 – June 13
Flexible scheduling coordinated in advance

Behind-the-scenes access to a professional dance production
Direct connection to the Pointeworks artistic team and process
