At Pointeworks, we believe ballet should be experienced — not reserved only for those who can afford it. That’s why we created Sponsor a Seat, a program that opens our performances to students, veterans, first responders, and first-time audience members through donor-funded tickets.
Ballet has the power to inspire, heal, and connect — but many never have the chance to sit in a theater and feel that magic. Your gift changes that. By sponsoring a seat, you place someone in the audience of Nocturnes — Five Ballets by Visionary Women this June at The Conrad.
Because of donors like you, last season we were able to:
Provide over $11,000 in donated tickets
Gift 167 seats at the Irvine Barclay Theatre — 15% of the house
Offer seats to veterans, military families, and first responders
Share 10 seats with UCSD students through a mental health partnership
Welcome dozens of young people and first-time audience members to the ballet

A sponsored seat is $120, providing a student or community member with a premium orchestra-level ticket to Nocturnes at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center
Sponsor a full row (10 seats) for $1,200
Larger group sponsorships available (schools, teams, organizations)
While Pointeworks offers a limited number of $30–$35 tickets to keep performances accessible to the general public,
Sponsor-a-Seat ensures recipients experience the performance at its fullest—without compromise.
Your support allows us to:
Keep lower-cost tickets available to the broader community
Provide high-quality, orchestra-level experiences to sponsored guests
Partner with schools, veterans groups, and student organizations to distribute tickets intentionally
Every sponsored seat is both access and opportunity.
REAL IMPACT — HAPPENING NOW
Through our 2026 Nocturnes season at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center:
30 seats have already been underwritten through a partnership with UCSD
19 students will be attending their first-ever ballet or live classical performance
The majority shared that cost would have prevented them from attending—even at $30 ticket pricing
Instead, they will experience the performance from premium orchestra seating
