Pointeworks has embarked on an ambitious project: creating a summer dance season in La Jolla involving fifteen artists of different media (dancers, choreographers, musicians, and visual artists) in which works by female choreographers are highlighted. Under the leadership of a female director, the aim is to bring together diverse perspectives and foster connections between artists who share a passion for expression. Producing a high-quality production requires significant resources - including compensation for participating artists and choreographers, theater rental, rehearsal space rental, and funding for production costs. Our first performance will be in June 2024 at the La Jolla Conrad Theater, followed by annual summer seasons.

Our total budget for this season is $35k, dependent upon generous donations from devoted art patrons like you; who make the vitality, innovation, and diversity of Pointeworks possible. Your generous giving towards Pointeworks makes a profound impact on all that we do.
