Join us at the historic Texas Theatre for an international evening of ballet, live music, film, and conversation presented in association with Hay Festival Forum Dallas.

AN INTERNATIONALLY CELEBRATED FESTIVAL
Hay Festival brings together leading voices from literature, art, music, science, politics, and culture through extraordinary gatherings around the world.
Pointeworks was invited to participate through our artistic collaboration with Resident Composer Katie Jenkins, joining artists from Wales and North Texas for an evening celebrating women leaders in the arts and the cultural connections between Wales and the United States.
The program includes live vocal and chamber music, a documentary screening, a panel conversation, and Pointeworks performing Chasing Shadows.

Pointeworks Founder and Artistic Director Sophie Williams has performed with companies across the United States and internationally, including the Royal New Zealand Ballet, and 6 seasons with Texas Ballet Theater
NICOLE VON ENCK
A Pointeworks artist and 17-season member of Texas Ballet Theater, Nicole originated Chasing Shadows alongside her sisters Claire and Emma Von Enck. Her repertoire includes Odette/Odile in Swan Lake and principal roles in Rubies, Etudes, and Serenade.

Pointeworks artist and Los Angeles Ballet lead dancer Kate Inoue has performed principal roles in Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Rubies, and Serenade, along with featured works by Justin Peck, Christopher Wheeldon, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa.
