Brian Bennett, originally from Lanham, MD, began his dance training in the competition circuit with C&C Dance Company and X Squad Dancers, performing styles from tap and jazz to hip hop and contemporary. He began ballet at the Baltimore School for the Arts under Norma Pera and trained with Visions, a modern dance company in Washington, D.C. He received full scholarships to summer programs at San Francisco Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre, and George Mason University.

Brian earned a B.S. in Arts Administration from Butler University and later joined the Joffrey Academy of Dance as a trainee. He went on to dance professionally with Oregon Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet, and Ballet Virginia. He is currently a resident artist with The Rosin Box Project in San Diego and has guested with companies across the U.S., including American Midwest Ballet and Salt Creek Ballet.

He has performed works by William Forsythe, George Balanchine, Alvin Ailey, Twyla Tharp, Martha Graham, Christopher Wheeldon, and many others. This marks his first season with Pointeworks.
