Join Pointeworks two nights before the show for Composer’s Circle, an intimate gathering, discussion, and performance with composer Katie Jenkins and our string quartet.

The evening offers a deeper look Jenkins’ process and the meanings behind her scores that will fill the Balboa Theatre on Sunday October 18 in COMPOSITIONS: An Evening of Katie Jenkins. Meet Katie Jenkins and the musicians, learn about the roots beneath each of her programmed works, and mingle with other artists and patrons cultivating a deeper appreciation and understanding for the music scores presented on Sunday.

New music at center stage is a rarity in the ballet scene, especially for women’s voices. Hear from a musical mind who has defied the norms and flourished in her industry and beyond. We are honored to share our 3rd Composer’s Circle series with Katie Jenkins and continue to collaborate and share her music with many audiences.
