Join Pointeworks two nights before COMPOSITIONS: An Evening of Katie Jenkins for an intimate gathering of music, conversation, and connection with our Resident Composer and string quartet.

Following gatherings in New York City and at The Conrad in La Jolla, our fourth Composer’s Circle offers a closer look at Katie Jenkins’ creative process. Through live excerpts and discussion, explore her new score, Dawn to Dusk, and discover the inspirations behind the music you’ll hear at the Balboa Theatre on Sunday, October 18.

Meet Katie and quartet musicians Francesca Fetten and Veronika Manchur, violin; Jeremy Klein, viola; and Robbie Bui, cello, ask questions, and share the evening with fellow Pointeworks supporters. This hour together celebrates the original music and artistic relationships that make our work possible—and the patrons who help bring it to the stage.
