Hunter Pennington is ecstatic to be joining Pointeworks this season. Born in southern California, Hunter started her career working in community theater. She leapt into professional production when she joined Hale Center Theatre in Arizona stage managing plays and musicals such as And Then There Were None, Wait Until Dark, and Footloose. Hunter moved to Las Vegas and was the Assistant Stage Manager for Nevada Ballet Theater ASMing works such as Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and Niccolo Fonte’s Carmina Burana. This season, Hunter has had the pleasure of joining Texas Ballet Theatre full time as the Associate Stage Manager. Growing up performing in ballet and contemporary dance, her love and passion for dance has flourished while watching these artists daily.
