in studio preview

In Fort Worth, Texas on October 11, 2026.

Pointeworks’ texas debut

On the Sunday before Compositions opened, Pointeworks took Fort Worth by storm in a sold-out open rehearsal featuring the entire show program before the curtain rose.

Company rehearsals took place in Fort-Worth-located studios which culminated in this in-studio preview for our very first event in Texas.

Guests sat along the mirror at the front of the studio and experienced ballet up close, both the athleticism and the grace.

Events like this offer the opportunity to make deeper connections between the art and the eyes that witness it. With choreographer Hélène Simoneau at the event, guests also got to hear about the World-Premiering work Where No Storms Come straight from the mind that created it.

Learn more about Hélène

French Canadian choreographer Hélène Simoneau is the mind behind Pointeworks’ very newest commission, a ballet and score titled Where No Storms Come using 5 dancers.

Her work took shape in July in a choreographic and musical residency with dancers, musicians, and composer Katie Jenkins.

This new ballet is an exquisite array of ballet technique with a contemporary eye. Ballet positions are held in unison creating stunning line imagery, until one dancer moves and the shape morphs again. Her work seamlessly melds group work into solos and duets, creating a world that absorbs you.
