Cesar Ramirez began his professional dancing career when he joined the National Ballet of Cuba at the age
of 17. He was awarded 1st and 2nd place in international competitions in Cuba and earned 2nd place in the States at Youth American Grand Prix,
Philadelphia. Cesar’s career is glittered with works by world renowned classical and contemporary choreographers such as Justin Peck, Christopher Wheeldon, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, George Balanchine, Edwaard Liang, Remi Wortmeyer and Melissa Barack.

Cesar will join the Pointeworks company in our 3rd season, rehearsing and performing in Southern California.
