Join Pointeworks and contemporary artist Ethan Blu for an afternoon celebrating creativity across disciplines at Movement in Bloom.
Set within Ethan Blu's gallery, this special summer gathering invites guests to explore a striking collection of contemporary artwork while experiencing an exclusive preview of a new ballet in development. At 5:00 PM, Pointeworks will present a studio showing of acclaimed choreographer Hélène Simoneau's newest creation, set to an original score by Katie Jenkins and premiering October 18 at the Balboa Theatre.
Guests are encouraged to mingle, meet fellow patrons of the arts, and enjoy an inspiring evening where visual art and dance converge.
As part of the event, 20% of all artwork sales will be donated to Pointeworks, directly supporting the creation of new ballet works, live music collaborations, and artist employment opportunities throughout the 2026–2027 season.
