Pointeworks brought audiences into DC Dance Studio for a behind-the-scenes look at Hélène Simoneau’s new creation and an original score by Resident Composer Katie Jenkins.
The open rehearsal shared the developing collaboration between choreographer, composer and dancers. A conversation with the artists offered insight into how a new ballet grows from its first ideas into a work for the stage.
