Movement in Bloom
Visual art meets ballet at Ethan Blu Gallery
Pointeworks joined contemporary artist Ethan Blu for a summer gathering that brought visual art and dance into the same creative space.
Set within the gallery on Cedros Avenue, Movement in Bloom invited guests to explore Ethan Blu’s artwork and experience a preview of Hélène Simoneau’s new ballet, set to an original score by Resident Composer Katie Jenkins.
The event connected the studio process with a wider community of artists, patrons and neighbors, offering a glimpse of the work ahead of its October 18 premiere at the Balboa Theatre.
Thank you to Ethan Blu and everyone who joined Pointeworks for this afternoon of shared creativity.
