Introducing Our Resident Composer: Katie Jenkins

This summer, Pointeworks is proud to welcome Katie Jenkins as our Resident Composer — a collaboration that continues to shape the heart of our work.

On June 13, her newest score will premiere as part of Nocturnes: Five Ballets

at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center

New this season: Music at the Ballet — Free Pre-Performance Lecture

Before each performance, step inside the music behind the movement. Led by resident composer Katie Jenkins, this intimate 30-minute experience explores The Elements—a newly commissioned score premiering that evening, with live excerpts performed by Joshua Mhoon (piano) and Julia Choi (violin).

Saturday, June 13
1:00–1:30 PM (before the 2:00 PM performance)
6:30–7:00 PM (before the 7:30 PM performance)
Atkinson Room, The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center

Free for all ticket holders. Seating is limited and first come, first served.
Ballet Society Members and Patrons receive reserved front-row seating and guaranteed entry.
