Ella Titus
Dancer in Season 3
Ella Titus was born in Clearwater, FL. She started ballet training at the age of three with Maureen Gibson. As a young girl she began performing with Florida West Youth Ballet under the direction of Pavel Fomin and began intensive ballet training with Haydee Gutierrez. Titus received scholarships to attend summer programs with American Ballet Theater, School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, at Miami City Ballet. At age 14, she moved to Miami to attend MCB School full-time as a student, and was offered an apprenticeship at age 16.
Two years later, in 2015, Titus graduated from Miami Beach High School and joined Miami City Ballet’s corps de ballet where she danced for 10 years. She toured with the company all over the US and originated many roles in ballets by well known choreographers such as Durante Verzola, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Ricardo Amarante. Since moving to NYC, she's started freelancing and working with smaller companies such as Tom Gold Dance.
Ella joins Pointeworks Season 3 as a dancer for the creation of a new work by Danielle Diniz.
