Dancer for Season 3

Jorge García is a Spanish ballet dancer currently performing with Philadelphia Ballet. He joined the company in 2022 as an Apprentice at the age of sixteen and was promoted to Corps de Ballet for the 2024/2025 season under the artistic direction of Ángel Corella. Born and trained in Madrid, Spain, his profile combines classical elegance with contemporary versatility, marked by artistic maturity and strong technical command at a young age.

He began his training at Madrid Dance Center (MDC) and later continued his studies at the Royal Ballet Upper School Summer Intensive, complementing his professional degree from the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma.

His repertoire with Philadelphia Ballet includes principal and soloist roles in major productions such as Swan Lake (Von Rothbart), Giselle (Peasant Pas de Deux), The Sleeping Beauty (Gold), Le Corsaire, and The Nutcracker® (Principal Hot Chocolate).

His versatility extends into neoclassical and contemporary repertoire. He has performed In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated by William Forsythe and the soloist role of Meander in The River by Alvin Ailey. Throughout his career, he has worked with internationally recognized choreographers including Juliano Nunes, Andonis Foniadakis, Stanton Welch, Toni Candeloro, and Ángel Corella, performing a wide range of classical and contemporary creations.

In July 2025, he was contracted by Teatro Massimo (Palermo) for the production Fatalità, under the direction of Jean-Sébastien Colau, with choreography by Toni Candeloro.
