For the first time, our artists bring an exclusive master class and repertoire workshop to New York City—offering dancers the rare chance to step inside a professional company environment and train in the works of today’s leading female choreographers. From classical to contemporary, participants will experience repertoire that amplifies women’s voices in ballet.
Morning Master Class with Artistic Director Sophie Williams
Studio 5 – 9:00 AM–10:30 AM
Join Pointeworks Artistic Director Sophie Williams for an advanced ballet master class focused on musicality, artistry, and technical precision. Designed for pre-professional and professional dancers, this class builds a strong foundation while emphasizing expressive interpretation.

Afternoon Repertoire Workshop & Open Rehearsal Experience
Studio 4 – 4:00–6:00 PM
Step inside the Pointeworks rehearsal room and immerse yourself in our dynamic repertoire, exclusively choreographed by women.
4:00–4:15 PM – Check-in & studio entry
4:15–5:15 PM – Repertoire Workshop: Learn excerpts from current Pointeworks works in both classical and contemporary styles, taught by a Pointeworks artist & rehearsal director.
5:15–5:45 PM – Open Rehearsal & Q&A: Observe company dancers in rehearsal for a new work, followed by an intimate discussion with the artists.
5:45–6:00 PM – Wrap-up & studio clear-out
This rare opportunity offers emerging dancers and professionals alike a firsthand look at how a repertory company works—and a chance to train in female-choreographed works rarely seen in classical ballet.
