Veronika Manchur, Violin

Ukrainian violinist Veronika Manchur brings over two decades of experience as a performer and educator, with a career shaped by international training, performances, and artistic collaborations. She has appeared as a soloist with the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra, Oakville Chamber Orchestra, and Guelph Symphony Orchestra, performing works by Bach, Vivaldi, and Paganini. A prizewinner at international competitions in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Canada, Veronika has participated in renowned festivals including Verbier, Schleswig-Holstein, Pacific Music Festival, and Music Academy of the West.

She earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from The Glenn Gould School in Toronto and pursued graduate studies at the USC Thornton School of Music under Glenn Dicterow. Her recent achievements include serving as Concertmaster of the American Youth Symphony and participating in the String Leadership Program at the Music Academy of the West. Alongside her performance career, Veronika maintains an active freelance career and is a dedicated private violin and piano instructor.

For Pointeworks' 2026 season, Veronika joins the creative team for Hélène Simoneau's new ballet with an original score by Resident Composer Katie Jenkins, participating in both the July creation residency and the October world premiere of COMPOSITIONS: An Evening of Katie Jenkins.
