Composer’s Circle offered an intimate first unveiling of a new original score by composer Katie Jenkins, shared live in the historic John Cage & Merce Cunningham Studio at Baryshnikov Arts Center. Patrons were welcomed into the earliest stages of creation, hearing musical excerpts performed by pianist Joshua Mhoon and violinist Julia Choi while gaining insight into the collaborative process shaping Pointeworks’ upcoming season. This private gathering embodied Pointeworks’ commitment to transparency in artistry and meaningful connection between artists and supporters.
