Open Rehearsal & Dance Dialogue brought audiences into New York City Center’s Studio 5 for a pay-what-you-can evening centered on transparency, collaboration, and equity in ballet. Guests experienced an up-close open rehearsal of Jacquelyn Long’s new work set to an original score by Katie Jenkins, followed by a moderated panel discussion led by Anabel Alpert, featuring Pointeworks artists and leaders from Dance Data Project®. By pairing live creation with thoughtful dialogue, the evening created space for meaningful exchange between artists and audiences, reinforcing Pointeworks’ commitment to access, conversation, and a more inclusive future for the art form.
